Scooby Doo, carnival princesses live music and a fun fair were just some of the attractions at this year’s Minster Fair.
A threat of rain did not materialise as crowds basked in sunshine to watch the parade and enjoy the fun.

Stalls with food, jewellery, crafts, competitions and more were on offer d well as activities and music from solo singers, bands and the amazing Village Voices community choir set up by PCSO Deborah Forsyth.
Punters also scooped raffle prizes, enjoyed the arts and crafts and entertainment including Pip the Clown.
The 133rd annual Minster Show takes place on Saturday (July 20).

Little ones took part in the baby show, there were demonstrations of chainsaw carving and vintage vehicles. Tonight there is evening family entertainment.
The show just gets better and better
Congratulations to all those involved
