Motorcyclist taken to hospital following Ramsgate crash

Police and ambulance were called to Victoria Parade

A motorcyclist was taken to hospital with injuries to their ankle following a crash in Ramsgate today (July 8).

Kent Police was called to the collision between the motorbike and a car in Victoria Parade at around 1.10pm.

Officers attended the scene. The South East Coast Ambulance Service (Secamb) also attended following a report of injuries to the motorcyclist.

A Secamb spokesman said: “Ambulance crews have attended the scene following reports of a collision involving a motorbike. The motorcyclist was assessed and treated at the scene before being taken to William Harvey Hospital. Injuries reported included an ankle injury.”
