Tokyo Tea Room perform at Elsewhere in Margate on new single release date

Tokyo Tea Room

Canterbury band and BBC Introducing in Kent favourites Tokyo Tea Room are performing in Margate next week.

The band, which released single Forever Out Of Time via Easter Island Records/Painted Halo Records in March, is the creation of Daniel Elliott and Ben Marshall.

Drawing inspiration from wherever life takes them, Daniel writes, records and produces with the band behind the walls of his studio Roswell Recordings. Forever Out Of Time has amassed 40,000 streams and now their follow up ‘Always Tomorrow’ is due for release on July 12 again via Painted Halo Records and Easter Island Records.

‘This year marks a new chapter for Tokyo Tea Room, instigated when the group had their band name “stolen” by one of the biggest nightclubs in their hometown. Undeterred, they regrouped and used the incident as an opportunity to bring their infectious psychedelic pop to new heights.

Always Tomorrow was recorded and mixed by Daniel Elliott at Roswell Recordings, and mastered by mastered by Mike Hillier at Metropolis Studio.

The band will be at Elsewhere, The Centre, on July 12, from 7pm. Tickets are £3 entry or £5 on the door.
