Part of Ramsgate Road in Margate blocked due to accident

Emergency services are dealing with the incident

Part of the Ramsgate Road in Margate is currently blocked off due to a collision this morning (July 2).

Police are in attendance at a two car crash near Lesters pub. Officers have stopped motorists using the road by the Victoria traffic lights while they deal with the incident.

A Kent Police spokesman said: “Kent Police was called at 10.20am following a two-car collision on Ramsgate Road, Margate.

“Officers attended and a road closure is currently in place. Recovery of the vehicles has been arranged and no serious injuries have been reported.”

  1. you have to contact your road people like AA or RAC and they are not the quickest or a local toetruck should help and assist at least put them at the side of the road to not block oncoming traffic and that area is bad for speed, maximum of 30 not 31 or 40 less speed please on that part of the road a child was knocked over driver sped off!
