The school says the vehicle was a silver BMW. The woman was approached on Margate Road, by the viaduct, and followed into St Lukes Avenue. Police have been made aware of the incident.
The message to parents adds: “We have informed all of the students today and reminded them to be sensible walking home and to look out for one another.”
A number plate has been given. The driver is described as overweight and bald.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called at 6.21pm on Monday, July 1 to a report that a man had made inappropriate comments to a woman walking along St Lukes Avenue, Ramsgate.”
Enquiries are ongoing.
