A film crew has been in Margate today (June 15).
A advert shoot for discount fashion chain Primark took place on the seafront and at the Nayland shelter.
The crew were assisted by 123 Lighting from Shoreditch and used a ‘Vroom with a View’ Winnebago location trailer.

The advert is just the latest in a string on shoots on the isle with singer Paloma Faith, director Sadie Frost and the cast of Netflix series Top Boy being among the most recent.

Why on earth come to margate
Why not! Don’t be so negative.
I have loved margate all my life. But it’s flooded with bloody lmmigrants and stabbings muggings and drunks. How much lower can it go.
Yeah. That never happened in good all days when theMods skinheads and punks then the beanos causing havoc. I mean it’s not like the police ever arrested 100 people over a BH weekend in the 60,s 70,s and 80’s after all. Rose.Tinted. gladses
Plenty do, can’t all be wrong!
bit ironic really, considering Primark pulled out of Margate years ago (the old british home stores in the high street/seafront)
They are showing loyalty. Primark sell more cheap tracksuits here.
Fed up with people slagging Margate off ….if you do not like the place then move
