Police called to disturbance and reported assault outside Margate railway station

Police were called to a dispute between a group of people that led to claims of one person being assaulted outside Margate railway station today (June 9).

Officers were called at 12.48pm to the disturbance and spoke to those involved.

A spokesman said: “It is alleged a number of people were involved in a dispute and that at least one person may have been assaulted.”

No arrests were made and enquiries are on-going.
