Book Signing Schedule

7pm – 7:15pm | Danielle Peck – Dreamland
Dreamland is set in Margate, a seaside resort town in South-East England that has seen great highs and lows. The series covers themes of regeneration and nostalgia. The hotels, boarding houses and schools have been converted into bedsits with a cacophony of doorbells in varying states of disrepair – the images have been matched with the original text of classified ads declaring the buildings’ former lives as thriving businesses.

7:15pm – 7:30pm | Vinca Petersen – Future Fantasy – Second Edition
Future Fantasy uses the archive of Vinca Petersen spanning the 1990s to tell the story of an adolescent growing up in a world of contradictions. The book features unseen work by Corinne Day, a close friend of Vinca’s, along with archive material including flyers, letters and other ephemera. Future Fantasy is reprinted for a second edition of 1150. It is printed on a variety of papers and with special inks, and has inserts, a poster and a screen printed cover.

7:30pm – 7:45pm | Rob Ball –  FUNLAND
From Blackpool to Brighton, and Barry Island to Brightlingsea, these richly-detailed photographs capture the candyfloss colours and faded nostalgia of a seaside culture that is peculiarly (yet wonderfully) British.
