Police called to report of a man’s body found in King George VI Park

Police have confirmed emergency services were called after a man’s body was found in Ramsgate this morning (June 4).

Officers, forensics and the ambulance service were called to King George VI Park play area at 5.49am.

A police spokesman said: “Kent Police was called to King George VI Memorial Park in Ramsgate at 5.49am where a man in his 30s was found deceased.

“The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.”

A South East Coast Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called shortly before 6am today to King George VI Park in Ramsgate. Ambulance crews attended and a man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.”

  2. So many young men dying … NHS Mental Health needs to be more readily available … when people need help they need it now … not in 6 months time

    I am not saying this is anything to do with MH issues .

  3. That man was my best friend I heard the news from another friend at 9pm this evening I have not seen him since I visited Ramsgate a year ago. We were planning on doing download festival this year. I had no clue of this to say I am devestated is beyond belief. It’s unreal until an image has been released to clarify its him I’m in limbo with it.
