Appeal for information over car vandalism in Nethercourt

Members of the Nethercourt Estate Residents Group have released CCTV images following a report of criminal damage and attempts to break into cars in the area.

The offences are said to have taken place late on Monday (May 20).

One resident had their car wing morror broken. Several others say attempts were made to get into their vehicles in the Nethrcourt Farm Road and Rydal Avenue areas.

A Kent Police spokesman said: “Kent Police received a report of criminal damage to a car parked in Nethercourt Farm Road, Ramsgate overnight on Monday, May 20.

“Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing, in the meantime any witnesses, who haven’t already been in touch with information, should call Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting reference 21-0872.”

Residents are now planning to set up a Neighbourhood Watch scheme.

  1. Nothing unusual down my road – not disclosed! – usually happens on a Friday night. We need more patrols and not have to rely on residents to provide the evidence. These yob criminals are able to walk around with impunity., that is the real problem. Nethercourt residents do not know the half of it!!!
