A CCTV image of two men has been released by a Margate homeowner’s son following an attempted break-in at the property.
The CCTV picked up the men at around midday on Monday (May 6) after a neighbour disturbed an attempt to get into the house in Drapers Avenue.
The man is hoping someone may recognise the duo so they can help police with enquiries.
Kent Police has confirmed the incident is being investigated.
A spokesperson said: “Kent Police is investigating a report of burglary at a residential address in Drapers Avenue, Margate.
“On Monday, May 6 at around midday two men were disturbed by a neighbour when they were reportedly trying to break into the property. Nothing was reported stolen but damage was caused to patio doors.”
