A man has died in Ramsgate following report to police of concern for his welfare

A man in his 30s has been confirmed as dead following a call to police over concerns for his welfare.

Police, ambulance and the air ambulance attended the call this afternoon (May 8).

An area of a property in Dumpton Park Drive was cordoned off following the report at 1.28pm.

A Kent Police spokesman said: “Kent Police was called following concerns regarding a man at a property in Dumpton Park Drive, Ramsgate, at 1.28pm.

“The South East Coast Ambulance Service also attended where a man in his 30s was confirmed dead. His next of kin are aware.

“The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report is being prepared for the coroner.”
