Singer-songwriter Paloma Faith has been spotted at the Walpole Bay Hotel in Cliftonville today (May 1).

The hotel, which was being used as a location shoot, is a perfect match for the quirky singer with its own unique collection of vintage toys, clothes, signs, crockery and more.

Resident Daren Carter caught the star on camera. He said: “They also climbed over fence near the cliff and did a shoot.”

Run by Jane Bishop and her family the Walpole Bay, in Fifth Avenue, has been used for shoots including The Republican video for “Try Everything,” Revolution Films for The Life of Tracy Emin and featured on Channel 5’s Hotel Inspector with Alex Polizzi.

Staff are currently bound by a confidentiality contract so cannot reveal any details as yet of the visit or whether the singer was filming or involved in a photo shoot.

Today isn’t Paloma’s first visit to the isle. Last year she filmed part of her Make Your Own Kind of Music video in Ramsgate.

The star is a former judge on The Voice UK, has tried her hand at acting  and stars in the latest Skoda campaign advert.
