A slice of Margate history at the Mad Hatter tea rooms

Historic Margate

Margate Museum and The Mad Hatter Tea Rooms have teamed up for the first in a series of historical talks.

The History of Victorian Margate is the subject of the first talk, taking place at the tea rooms in Lombard Street on Monday, April 29 from 2pm-4pm.

The event, which costs £10pp, includes a glass of juice on arrival, a one hour talk followed by a Q&A, pot of tea or Americano coffee and homemade cake or scone.

Next month’s talk will be on the Margate Women’s Movement. This takes place on May 20, times and ticket prices the same as this month.

Tickets need to be bought in advance from the tea rooms. Call 01843 232626 or email [email protected]
