Dumbo (PG)

Palace Cinema Broadstairs

Tim Burton’s (Alice in Wonderland, Edward Scissorhands) all-star rich re-imagining of the Disney classic. A young elephant, whose oversized ears enable him to fly, helps save a struggling circus, but when the circus plans a new venture, Dumbo and his friends discover all is not as it seems behind the bright lights.

When circus owner Max Medici (Danny DeVito – Twins, The Lorax) hires Holt (Colin Farrell – In Bruges, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them) to take care of Dumbo, a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him the laughing stock of the struggling circus troupe. But when Holt’s children discover that Dumbo can fly, silver-tongued entrepreneur V.A. Vandevere (Michael Keaton – Batman Returns, Beetlejuice), and aerial artist Colette Marchant (Eva Green – Casino Royale) swoop in to make the little elephant a star.
