A former Rovex worker is appealing for help to track down a best friend that she hasn’t heard from in 50 years.
Christine Pirie, who now lives in Scotland, wants to trace Lynne Snowden who she last heard from in 1969.
Christine, who is now 76, moved to Kirkaldy Fife in 1968.
She said: “We worked together at the Rovex toy factory. Lynne was my best friend when I lived in Broadstairs and Ramsgate. I think she got married in Margate in 1979 and believe her name is now Randal.
“She had a sister Philly who married, I think, Eddie and went to live in the Channel Islands, They had been living in Suffolk Avenue, Westgate.”
