Motorists heading out of Thanet on the A299 Thanet Way are advised to expect delays following a collision on the London-bound carriageway this morning (December 27).
The incident involving a car and a lorry happened between the junctions for Whitstable and Brenley Corner at about 2.50am.

The road remains closed while officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit carry out their enquiries at the scene, and motorists are advised to find alternative routes if possible.
