Emergency services attend report of collapsed man not breathing at Ramsgate train station

Police and ambulance crews were called to Ramsgate train station today (December 24) after a man collapsed and stopped breathing.

Four ambulances and two police cars were in attendance.

A South East Coast Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Ambulance crews (were called to) Ramsgate train station shortly after 11.45am following reports a man had collapsed and was not breathing.

“The man was resuscitated before being taken to QEQM Hospital in a serious condition. We would like to thank everyone who helped the man prior to our arrival.”

Police confirmed officers were there to assist paramedics.
