Emergency services

Detectives have released the description of a man they want to speak to in connection with a robbery in Margate.

The suspect, who rode off on the bike towards Park Road, is described as being aged between 18 and 21 and 5ft 10in to 5ft 11in tall. He was of medium build and was wearing dark clothing including a hooded top. He spoke with a foreign accent.

Alternatively, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers in Kent anonymously on 0800 555111.

  1. When he is caught and justice served we need to Brexit him away.
There are enough criminals in the country without more from abroad joining in. This is the third I have read of foreigners committing crime in Thanet in past few weeks.

  2. Its getting bad. Bike theft has clearly increased & now you are saved the bother of securing it too. This & other crimes need to be dealt with before it gets even worse.
