Dreamland has announced its Christmas programme following news that the Frosted Fairground will not take place this year and rides and the main park are closed until next Easter.
Instead Dreamland will create ‘Step Inside’ in its undercover spaces with seasonal food and drink and craft activities.
There will also be a line up of music, entertainment and festive films and a New Year’s Eve party with Pendulum in The Hall by the Sea.
Family
The festive Roller Rink will take place in the retro Roller Disco. A resident Frosted FM DJ will spin Christmas classics between Noon-4pm on December 1,8,15,22 and 24. Members skate free.
Raymond Briggs’ much loved Snowman and the Snow Dog and Father Christmas will be delighting visitors on December 9, with a special appearance from the festive characters. Arrive early to avoid disappointment and don’t forget to bring your camera to capture some festive snaps with the little ones from Noon-4pm, with priority entry at 11am for members.
The Roller Diner will become a festive Holiday Hangout every day between Noon-10pm. Catch a Christmas movie or a winter sports screening, play in the Pinball Parlour and games room, or enjoy some ‘hygge’ with a mulled wine and Scandinavian meatballs.
There will also be a giant snow globe and Christmas craft making in the Woodland Lodge on December 1,2,8,15 and 16 and daily from December 22-31 from Noon-4pm.

Big Fish Little Fish family ravers bring acid house, techno, house and drum ‘n’ bass to an all-ages crowd on Sunday, December 16. They’ll be bubbles, balloons, confetti cannons and a snow machine!
