Two arrested on suspicion of Cliftonville robbery

Two men have been arrested over the reported assault and robbery of a man in Cliftonville last week.

The victim, a man in his 30s, was walking his dog in Ethelbert Terrace at about 8.30pm on Monday 8 October when he was targeted.

He suffered head injuries that required hospital attention and also had his phone and bank card stolen.

On Saturday 13 October a 40-year-old man from Margate and an 18-year-old man from Ramsgate were arrested on suspicion of robbery. Both have since been released pending further enquiries.
