Police and ambulance at Haine Road crash

Police and ambulance crews were at the scene of a two car crash on the Haine Road at Ramsgate today (October 11).

The road is was shut at the A256 Haine Road both ways from A299 Canterbury Road East (Lord of the Manor roundabout)  to B2050 Manston Road for several hours.

Police were called to the incident at 3.41pm.

A spokesman said: “Two cars were involved in the collision and officers attended the scene along with the South East coast Ambulance Service.”

There were severe delays on Hengist Way and Canterbury Road West as well as the Haine Road closure.

Two men were taken to hospital with injuries. The road was clear by about 7.15pm.
