A car crash closed off roads in St Peter’s this morning (September 20).
The collision took place on Albion Road. The road was closed both ways from Sowell Street to Church Street and the Loop bus was being diverted as it was unable to get to Green Lane.
Police are looking for one driver who left the scene of the accident.
A Kent Police spokesman said: “Kent Police was called to a report of a two-vehicle collision in Albion Road, Broadstairs at 9am.
“Officers attended the scene along with the South East Coast Ambulance Service following a report of minor injuries.
“Enquiries are ongoing to locate the driver of one of the vehicles, who reportedly left the scene following the incident.”
The road is now open and normal Loop services have resumed.
