The Coastguard helicopter was tasked this afternoon (September 8) to pick up a sick crewman onboard a vessel in waters off Thanet.
The person was airlifted and taken to QEQM hospital. They were met on-site by the Margate Coastguard rescue team.
It is understand the man is recovering well but the helicopter had a fault and so has not yet left the QEQM.
