Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a fire in an electrical cupboard in Upper Dane Road, Margate at 12.08pm today (August 17).
Firefighters were on the scene within minutes and used breathing apparatus, a hose reel and a dry powder extinguisher to tackle the fire.
All residents of the property have been accounted for and one man, thought to be in his 20s, is receiving oxygen therapy from South East Coast Ambulance Service.
