A teenage girl suffered injuries, believed to be to her face, after a report that she had been hit by a car in Ramsgate.
Kent Police was called to the incident just after midnight, going into the early hours of this morning (August 14).
Officers attended the scene in Hollicondane Road, at the junction with St Luke’s Avenue, where they found the 15-year-old with minor injuries.
An appeal being circulated via social media says the car is believed to be a red BMW which was understood to have mounted the kerb and then left the scene. This is still to be confirmed by police.
Police enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the incident.
