A ‘gala tent’ caught up by the wind by the Jolly Farmer pub in Manston and blown into wires on a telegraph pole caused an hour long road closure today (August 10).
Kent Police was called at 3.15pm to assist Kent Fire and Rescue Service with the road closure in Manston High Street.

The fire crew dealt with the incident and the road was reopened at 4.15pm.
