Kent Police is investigating after the death of a baby from Broadstairs.
Officers were called on Monday, July 23 after the infant was taken to hospital in a critical condition.
The baby was transferred to a London hospital but sadly died on July 26.
A 20-year-old man, from Linley Road, Broadstairs, was arrested in connection with the incident and has been released on bail until August 15 whilst enquiries continue.
An inquest into the death of the six week old baby boy was opened at Maidstone’s Archbishops Palace but has been suspended while the police investigation takes place.
