Two fire engines attended an incident at Westwood Industrial Estate today (August 2).
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called at 4.47pm to the fire inside an industrial unit. Crews found smoke issuing from the building on arrival.
Firefighters entered the single storey building wearing breathing apparatus. There were no casualties or injuries reported.
Crews used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire that started in the kiln that was in use within the building.
