Ramsgate RNLI launched today (July 25) to a report of a swimmer who had gone missing at Dumpton Gap.
The crew were called into action at 5.07pm and carried out a shoreline search at the request of the coastguard.
The swimmer was found to be safely ashore and the crew were stood down.
