The Royal Temple Yacht Club is recruiting new members for its youth sailing academy.
Each year RTYC goes out to schools, colleges, scouts and sea cadet groups looking for the next generation of super sailors to be trained on club members’ racing yachts. Racing is on a Sunday and Wednesday evening and a week of racing over Ramsgate Week each year.
For new recruits training will be given in safety before they go on the water, then they will join a yacht as crew to be trained in the art of sailing.
