A parade of Suffragettes, live music, children’s fun and exhibitions were all on offer in Birchington yesterday in a celebration of 100 years since some women gained the vote.
Acts including Hotsy Totsy, Keelan Layton and Reg E Mental provided entertainment. There were also cream teas, a hog roast and Dickens characters.
Events were held in The Square, the Baptist Church, Church House and Station Road.
Photographers Alan Green and Brian Whitehead captured the action
