Crinoline and top hats have been in evidence in Broadstairs this weekend for the Dickens Festival.
The event, which has been held annually since 1937 – barring during World War Two – attracts thousands of visitors to the town for a multitude of events.

This year’s offerings included the Grande Parade, county fair, living history, a showing of a Yesteryear film at the Palace Cinema, staging of the Old Curiosity Shop at the Sarah Thorne Theatre, music from isle school choirs and acts including Hotsy Totsy and a Dickensian cricket match to name just a few.
Isle photographer Carole Adams caught some of the fun on camera.
