Ramsgate RNLI was called out this evening (June 12) to reports of a woman in trouble in the water off the main beach.
The ILB (inshore lifeboat) was launched at around 7.45pm. The ambulance service was also at the scene.
The woman was brought safely ashore and treated for mild hypothermia.
