Teenager to appear at crown court accused of Margate burglary

A 19-year-old man is to appear in crown court accused of a burglary in Margate.

Rene Miller, of no fixed address, was arrested by police and charged on Thursday 31 May.

The charge relates to a burglary  in Nash Road on the same day, where the victim called police after she found a man in her house. The suspect ran from the scene but was later detained by officers in the nearby area.

Mr Miller appeared via virtual link at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday 1 June. He was bailed to appear next at Canterbury Crown Court on Friday 29 June.
