Aspiring musicians are being offered the chance to win a year-long mentorship with industry professionals and support slots at Dreamland’s music shows.
Following the popularity of last year’s Battle of the Bands competition at the park, Dreamland Margate has announced Dreamland Introducing; offering the opportunity to local musicians, DJs and producers to compete for the prize.
Acts selected will compete in heats throughout the Summer on the park’s outdoor Scenic Stage to be in with a chance of being crowned the Dreamland Introducing Winner. Each week, winners will be selected by special guest judges who will be announced soon.
Dreamland Introducing takes place on Sunday afternoons (July 22 & 29 and August 12 & 19) with the final on September 2.
Anyone aged 16 – 25 can enter the competition. Access to Dreamland Introducing will be included within park entry.
Those wishing to enter Dreamland Introducing need to send a video or audio recording of their act with information on the genre and the ages of each performer to [email protected].
The deadline for submissions is July 1.
