Two men have been arrested on suspicion of dealing Class A drugs in Margate.
Officers from the Thanet Community Policing Team and the Divisional Support Unit were on patrol in Norfolk Road yesterday (June 5) when they stopped a man who had come out of a property and was seen to be behaving suspiciously.
The 26-year-old man, of no fixed address, was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs. He was released on police bail until Thursday 28 June.
Further enquiries inside the property by officers led to a second arrest, and a number of wraps of cocaine and heroin, as well as mobile phone sim cards and cash were recovered
A 21-year-old man, of no fixed address, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and currently remains in custody.
