Minnis Bay is the chosen location for filming the latest advert for Cadbury’s Twirl.
A crew from production company Outsider was on location yesterday (May 31) to meet with Thanet council’s film officer.
As well as choosing the isle spot for filming, Outsider has made a donation to the Birchington sea shelters group.
Council leader Bob Bayford: “Thanet’s popularity with media creatives shows no sign of waning. We are very pleased that our Film Officer’s work with location manager of Outsider, Mark Jones, has resulted in Minnis Bay being chosen to feature in the latest television commercial for Cadbury’s Twirl.
“We are also very happy to confirm that in addition, the production company has made a donation to the Birchington Sea Shelters and Amenities Group a fund that supports the restoration of the Victorian shelters in Birchington.”
