A call is being made for adult volunteers to help out with the 17th Ramsgate Scout Group.
The group is also accepting youngsters into the cub, beaver and scout groups.
People are invited to visit the group for taster sessions, both for volunteers and youngsters hoping to join.
Nirav Patel, District Growth and Development Officer for Thanet Scouts, said: “We are currently recruiting adult volunteers and trying to get more young people involved in Scouting across Thanet for 17th Ramsgate Scout Group.
“The Scout group meets at St Mark’s Church in Ramsgate on Wednesday evenings and we are happy for people to come and have a taster session to try out what Scouting is all about.
“Some of the activities include, kayaking, zorbing, climbing camping, cooking etc.
“No previous experience is required from volunteers.”

- Cubs (ages 8-10½)
- Scouts (ages 10½–14)
- Explorer Scouts (ages 14–18) – not at St Mark’s

Beavers 4:45pm-6pm
Cubs 6pm-7:30pm
Scouts 7:30pm-9pm
