Four people have been arrested in connection with dealing Class B drugs in Ramsgate.

Officers from the Thanet Local Policing Team were on patrol in Archway Road – off Queen Street – just after midnight today (April 16)  when they stopped a car.

Following a search of the vehicle, officers recovered about 250 grams of herbal cannabis as well as a number of plastic bags, cash and mobile phones believed to be linked to drug dealing.

The occupants of the car were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cannabis.

A 21-year-old man and a 22-year-old man, both from Ramsgate, and a 22-year-old man from Margate all currently remain in custody while enquiries are ongoing.

A 23-year-old woman from Ramsgate has been released pending further investigation.

  1. It amazes me why the women always get preferential treatment when involved in crime. I thought everyone was supposed to be equal these days. Pleased to read that more Thanet drug dealers were stopped in their tracks.
