A police presence in a Cliftonville road today (April 13) was connected to a search for a teenage boy who had earlier run away from officers.
Officers and dog handlers were spotted in Harold Road. Witnesses also reported a police helicopter overhead.
A Kent Police spokesman said: “Officers are making enquiries in Cliftonville as to the whereabouts of a teenage boy after he was seen to run away from officers in Cumberland Road at around 4.40pm. Enquiries are ongoing.”
