New team take on Busy Broadstairs magazine

Busy Broadstairs

The Busy Broadstairs magazine has been produced by a new team this year making a return to its previous name and format.

On hearing that Discover Broadstairs would no longer be published, four long-standing members of the Broadstairs Information Kiosk decided that the town could not do without an events calendar and decided to take the task on themselves. The team worked on a voluntary basis, in with Margate based printers Truprint Media, to produce this year’s Busy Broadstairs.

The free magazine provides information on events in Broadstairs from Easter 2018 through to March 2019 and will be available at the Broadstairs Information Kiosk and at many other locations.

One volunteer said, “We all had the same idea about the design, we wanted to bring back the name Busy Broadstairs and we wanted a return to the original table format.

“The team’s thanks are extended to the advertisers for ensuring that production could go ahead and to local photographers for their contributions.

“We are especially grateful to Truprint Media who have given invaluable, professional help every step along the way in regard to the design and layout of the magazine. The company will be printing, and delivering, 17000 copies of the Busy Broadstairs this year.”

The magazine will be launched at the official opening of the Broadstairs Information Kiosk on Thursday, March 29 at 10am.
