The Kent Police helicopter was called out to search over Dumpton and Broadstairs last night (March 10) following reports of a woman in distress.
Kent Police was called at 9.35pm by concerned residents in the Broadstairs station area who heard a person shouting for help near the railway bridge at Ramsgate Road, near East Kent College.
A police spokesman said: “We were called at 9.25pm to concerns from residents a person had been heard shouting for help in an area close to a railway bridge over Ramsgate Road.
“A police helicopter assisted a search of the area, but no one was located. “
