Officers investigating the assault of a man in Margate by a group of youths are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
It was reported that between 7.30pm and 7.45pm on Thursday 8 February, a man in his 40s was approached by a group of young people in the High Street and assaulted.
He suffered a head injury and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Four teenagers have been arrested in connection with the assault:
A 16-year-old boy from Margate was arrested on suspicion of assault on 13 February.
A 15-year-old boy from Margate was arrested on suspicion of assault on 17 February.
A 16-year-old boy from Whitstable was arrested on suspicion of assault on 28 February.
A 15-year-old boy from Margate was arrested on suspicion of assault on 23 February.
All four have been released pending further investigation.
Investigating officer PC Rob Hitchcock said: “Having followed up enquiries and CCTV opportunities, we would like to appeal for any witnesses to come forward who have not already spoken to an officer about it. In particular we are keen to trace a woman who came forward to help the victim, as she may have information which could help the investigation.”
