Some isle bin collections have been postponed this morning (February 27) due to snow.
Thanet council says: “Bin collections are temporarily suspended due to weather conditions. Crews were out early but heading back to the depot due to impact on side roads which are not safe for 26 tonne vehicles.
“Residents expecting a collection today should keep their bins out. More info will follow.”
Update: Crews are out collecting black bins but only from the main roads as many side roads remain unsafe. Weather permitting, collections will happen asap – please leave these bins out.
If you have not had your recycling collected please take in back in, it will be picked up on your next scheduled collection date.
