Southeastern warning of possible disruption to train services

Southeastern train company is warning passengers to check services tomorrow (February 26) due to a forecast drop in temperatures and the possibility of snow.

Southeastern is planning to run a full service tomorrow but says checks are vital, particularly for evening journeys as snowfall is forecast for 6pm Monday and services may be disrupted as a result.

A spokesperson for Southeastern said: “We are working closely with Network Rail to keep the rail network open  and will be running a full service on Monday morning.

“With heavier snow expected from 6pm on Monday, services may be disrupted.

“We advise passengers to check before they travel and allow additional time for journeys.  If possible, passengers may wish to re-time evening journeys to avoid the peak hour.”
