Two arrested in connection with Broadstairs graffiti tags

Kent Police

Two people have been arrested on suspicion of spraying around 120 graffiti tags across Broadstairs.

The arrests were made by officers on patrol in the town after they saw two people acting suspiciously in the Tippledore Lane area.

After approaching the suspects, a 23-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy both from Margate, officers arrested them on suspicion of criminal damage.

They remain in custody as enquiries continue.

  1. Well done those officers. Can they spot the graffiti taggers out at night in Margate next and get them stopped. There is one tag that stands out a lot from the others and that is – Sive, it is plastered all over the place.
