Officers investigating the supply of drugs in Margate have charged two men with possessing cocaine and cannabis with intent to supply.
Gary Benson, 30 and of Ethelbert Terrace in Margate, and Neil Benson, 58 and of Mentmore Road in Ramsgate, were both arrested in Ethelbert Terrace on Friday 26 January.
While in custody they were each charged with possessing cocaine and possessing cannabis with intent to supply.
Gary Benson was also charged with importing cannabis.
They were both remanded in custody and appeared at Canterbury Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 27 January.
At that hearing they were bailed to attend Canterbury Crown Court on 26 February.
A 20-year-old woman from Margate was also arrested in connection with the offences. She has been released, pending further enquiries.
