Police are investigating after a man in his 50s was left in a serious condition following an attack in Ramsgate.
Kent Police was called to King Street at around 8pm yesterday (January 19) to a report of a disturbance involving a group of people.
At the scene officers were made aware that a man aged in his 50s was reported to have been assaulted and suffered a head injury.
He was taken to a local hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
Kent Police has thanked those witnesses who have already come forward and asks for anyone who was in the area at the time of the disturbance and hasn’t yet spoken to an officer to get in touch.
