The Hilderstone Radio Club has won the regional club of the year shield for the fourth year running.

The presentation was made by regional manager Mike Senior.

The club has had another outstanding year with lots of interesting events and an influx of new members. The chair, John Hislop, and the rest of the committee were also re-elected at the AGM.

The club recently met pupils at St Joseph’s primary school’s coding club and taught the youngsters how to read and send Morse code. Their challenge now is to code their Arduino to send SOS with flashing LEDs.
